Raw Sour Cream

Ok, time for another great raw food template. This sour cream can be used almost like “ordinary” sour cream. This recipe makes about 2.5 cups ( 6dl ).



  • 1.7 cups (4 dl ) cashews
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon himalayan salt
  • 1.25 cups (3 dl ) water




  1. Soak the cashews for at least 4 hours.
  2. Mix to a smooth cream with water, vinegar and salt.
  3. If you store it in a jar with tight fitting lid will keep for 2-3 weeks in the fridge.




Give this sour cream some extra taste with garlic, cayenne or some herbs. And again it is a great template.
